The Weekend Shift (6:00AM – 5:30PM Saturday & Sunday) Operations* Supervisor* for Leica Biosystems is responsible for leading and managing the Wax Department. This is a working supervisor role.

This position is part of the *Operations team *located in *Richmond, IL *and will be fully on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• *Deliver critical cell targets, including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity *
• *Own the continuous improvement (DBS) culture for the value stream, including owning Daily Management, Problem-Solving Process (PSP), *
• The essential requirements of the job include: ***
• Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in an FDA or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment and previous people leadership experience
• Familiarity leading and facilitating lean manufacturing Kaizen events (Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, etc.) with sustained results
