Position Summary:

As a Junior Packaging Designer at twelveNYC, you will collaborate with our Creative and Development Teams to create compelling renderings and artwork for various projects. You'll work closely with a team of brilliant senior-level Packaging Designers to ensure client branding consistency and bring innovative packaging concepts to life. This role involves a high level of accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. With proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and a strong understanding of design trends, you'll help us turn creative ideas into tangible products that enhance brand presence and market impact. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit are essential in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Art Team and Creative + Development Team to create renderings and artwork for presentations and projects
• Work closely with Senior Graphic Designers and Design Leads to fulfill requests as necessary
• Gain an understanding of each client’s unique branding and guidelines to create consistency throughout the entire project
• Conceptualize packaging designs with an understanding of creative innovations, client’s tastes, needs, and market trends
• Display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in artwork delivery
• Ability to relentlessly collaborate and as well as work independently on several different projects at once
• Exercise judgment and project management skills, both personally and with team members, to balance priorities and communicate to teams to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitment
• Highly organized in maintaining production files to increase job efficiency and ensure that files and elements are easy to locate
• Duties may include Photoshop renderings, file organization, production file setup, document creation, file sharing, and other duties as assigned
• Proactive about deadlines and timeline executions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience, preferably in an agency setting
• Adobe Creative Cloud- InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator experience necessary
• Must have experience working with creative design software to combine typography, graphics, and other design elements
• Proficient experience in Photoshop renderings and mockups
• Proficient understanding of the Pantone color system
• Proficient experience in illustrating, pattern-making, and typography
• Understanding of brand development and consistency with the capability of solving complex problems through effective design
• Must have their pulse on the latest in art/design/fashion/typography trends
• Ability to execute design tasks quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work after-hours and on different time zones when necessary
• Must be flexible, open-minded, and respond to constructive criticism with revisions to designs and projects as necessary

Salary: $60k - $70k annually
