- Hourly Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 Depending on Experience
Essential Responsibilities:
- Handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls and facilitates a positive customer/patient experience.
- Accurately documents patient or client comprehensive demographic and health information into the electronic health record system.
- Verifies patient eligibility, insurance benefits, out of pocket costs and deductible requirements as well as obtains pre-authorizations or referrals as required.
- Handles scheduling of appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix.
- Engages in outreach activities, which may include responding to emails, follow up calls to patients, payors, military contacts and providers.
- Provides excellent customer service including supporting patients, families, internal and external customers.
- Meets established Patient Intake department metrics and quality goals.

- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
- One year customer service or call center experience required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance or medical billing preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
