Payment Specialist - Manager

Responsibilities:

• Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Review and reconcile payment batches for accuracy
• Identify and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with billing and coding teams to ensure accurate posting of payments
• Assist with insurance verification and claim follow-up as needed
• Stay updated on medical billing and coding regulations and guidelines
  
  

Skills:

• Proficient in medical terminology, medical records, and medical office procedures
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
• Experience with medical billing and payment posting in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with medical collection processes and procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
