What you will do:

Are you part of the real estate investment industry for several years with an interest in data and analytics? Do you want to be part of a global effort to thoughtfully design and build a cutting-edge real estate data platform? If so, consider joining our enterprise data team within PGIM Real Estate as a Marketing Data Trustee.

The Marketing Data Trustee (Director Level) will be primarily responsible for partnering with internal Marketing and Business Development teams to define, implement and maintain a robust data model to support business information needs. The candidate will ensure that the integrity of the data model is preserved from source to destination across external partners, internal data teams and front-end business users, and will be responsible for Marketing system data definitions, lineage, and calculations. The candidate will interact with fund and investor data, help build data-driven narratives in partnership with PGIM Marketing, Business Development, and executive stakeholders. This role reports to the Head of Data Management and can be hybrid in any of our PGIM Real Estate US offices or fully remote.

What you can expect:

Data Governance

  • Solicit input from key stakeholders to determine data objects, attributes, definitions and validation rules to be implemented at the system level in support of Marketing specific data models and dashboards.
  • Responsible for documenting lineage, calculations and definitions in a structured data dictionary and documenting the relationship between the Marketing data model and the PGIM-wide enterprise data model.
  • Establish and monitor key metrics to measure data quality and track progress to ensure exceptional data quality results.

Data Access

  • Partner with business stakeholders in key Marketing areas to ensure proper data model development in support of end business user needs.

Data Socialization

  • Communicate strategically to present actionable data to the Marketing organization and inform on progress
  • Apply SQL and other data analytics capability to curate and present data to business users and executives to satisfy specific reporting requirements.
  • Understand the needs of the Marketing data users and help develop and deploy reporting automation to address commonly needed data points.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Work with key stakeholders and data sources to extract, synthesize and provide data to fulfill needs from the Marketing and Business Development Organization
  • Use business knowledge and problem-solving skills to source data consistent with our narrative for various data needs. Seek to automate processes for extracting data to enable a self-service environment
  • Interact with executives to translate their asks, brainstorm solutions, and present findings

What you will bring:

  • Ability to drive stakeholder interaction to capture user needs with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience building or managing data governance initiatives; experience with data dictionaries, lineage tracking, and validation rules
  • Minimum of 5 years of data modeling and analysis; preferably in real estate or Investor Marketing
  • Bachelors’ degree
  • Strong execution skills and attention to detail
  • Professional and energetic self-starter with ability to multitask without sacrificing quality of work
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to effectively take the conceptual to the pragmatic

What will set you apart:

  • Experience in Real Estate Investment Management or investor Marketing data analytics preferred with knowledge of datasets critical to investment managers.
  • Highly proficient with Excel and SQL with extensive data analysis experience
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and methodologies preferred.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $120,000 to $160,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
