Position Type: Full-time, First Shift (6:30 AM through 3:00 PM)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
Certified Techniciansshall hold a current valid certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT)
Non-certified technicians must have 6 months of experiencein a retail or hospital pharmacy setting; or be a graduate of an Academic Technician Training Educational Program
Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications and maintain related records
Prepare, package, label, and distribute medication doses prescribed by physicians
Maintain inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking expiration dates
Fill/stock medications in various automated devices and storage locations
Operate pharmacy automation equipment, including Autofill devices, Baker Cells, Kalish cells, A-frames, and repackaging equipment
