Plant Maintenance Technician- various shifts

Randstad has several openings for Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians. Base hourly pay starts out at $22/hr + based on experience. Average work weeks range from 40-60 and can include weekends. We have all three shifts available and with several of our position you must be open to rotating shifts every 3 months. Individuals must have at least one year of manufacturing/industrial/plant experience and/or a vocational/technical certificate. Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
• Installing new production equipment
• Preventative maintenance including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment
• Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines
• Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
• Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
• Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
• Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports
  
  

The Essential Functions Of This Role Include

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
• working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week
