We are looking for an exceptional Principal Electronic Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers focused on developing innovative technology for our capital equipment products. Responsibilities may include board level digital circuit design, analog circuit design, power subsystem design, firmware development, and system integration and testing.
What you will do is:
Work as part of a team and collaborate on cross-functional development projects
Simulate, integrate, and design complex subsystems (e.g., PCBA/digital/analog/RF/FW) to achieve system-level requirements
Guide the team through design evaluations and engineering tradeoffs to optimize functional performance, reliability, and product cost
Help define and implement appropriate test plans and procedures
Analyze equipment to establish operating criteria by conducting experimental tests and evaluating the results
Skills You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, and 10 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in development and debugging of electronics.
A proven history of technical design success and a methodology of achieving it
Ability to work on problems of difficult scope where success requires analysis of data and judgement on the generation of additional unprovided inputs
While travel is infrequent, up to 10% travel is possible
