Our Guilford County client is a leading global manufacturer of personal/baby/hygiene products and has an immediate Direct Hire career opportunity for a Process Engineer due to significant growth! Ideal candidate has experience within the non-woven manufacturing industry and products for personal care/baby products, and experience working with supply chain, distribution, and retail industries. They offer pay u[ to $100k, Bonus, excellent benefits, hours of M-F 8am to 5pm, close knit collaborative teams and a path for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all average autonomous manufacturing unit process and product quality improvements and oversee process stability programs. Understand and monitor historical trends and KPI data to quickly identify and resolve process and quality issues.
- Supervise up to 7 production lines of autonomous manufacturing units while aiming for zero accident occurrences
- Oversee and direct overall operational and performance reduction losses in overall equipment effectiveness through strong analysis of process/quality data. Unveil opportunities to create and implement solutions.
- Spearhead Root Cause Analysis on equipment losses and generate operational standards, simultaneously with updating and auditing correct applications on production floor
- Certify that all operational standards and procedures drive optimize energy utilization.
- Reciprocate good practices with team Process Engineers of other autonomous manufacturing units.
- Encourage production floor modifications and advise and coach teams to new processes
- Participate in creating capital expenditure projects, present process input to engineering teams and departmental teams involved in the production process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree within engineering or technical field
- 2 –3 years experience within a manufacturing environment (must have experience within personal care/hygiene/baby non woven products
- Strong knowledge of lean principles, tools and techniques related to process resolution and quality losses
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude.
- Experience within process engineering on the IT side and on the production floor to enhance processes and system performance to manufacturing lean successes
- Ability to drive performance improvement and successful in achieving high performance improvement
- Proficiency with advanced computer knowledge including MS Office, engineering software, ERP systems, etc. Knowledge of tools and techniques related to resolving process and quality losses. • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude.
- Ability to drive performance improvement across cross functional departmental levels
- Knowledge of lean principles, change management processes, data analysis and problem solving, system process innovation
- Excellent verbal/written presentation skills
