Product Manager
Mobius Mobility manufactures and distributes the next generation iBOT®Personal Mobility Device– a breakthrough product in the field of personal mobility. The Product Manager owns the evolution and future of the iBOT®. Assessing the competitive landscape and making market driven decisions for future improvements and additional features for the iBOT®. The Product Manager is the key liaison translating market need across engineering design, manufacturing, and commercialization of the iBOT®.

Responsibilities:
- Manage new product launches including planning and executing pre-launch demand generation activity; leading logistical, promotional, product training activity during launch; and driving post-launch tracking and marketing programs
- Develop market requirements, presentations and supporting materials to align all functional groups behind a common product vision
- Monitor the market, develop and communicate competitive analyses: understand the customers, internal stakeholders, business model
- Maintain strong product knowledge; support internal and external customer education programs and product training program as required
- Conduct market research to uncover customer and business insights; translate those insights into products and programs that deliver growth for the iBOT®
- Represent Mobius Mobility during medical conferences, events, customer and partner visits
- Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements prioritizing development projects through understanding the cost and benefits and understanding and representing user needs
- Accountable for resolution of critical issues during the entire life cycle of the products including an active and leading interface with development team, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Foster a sense of inclusion among the team, valuing the diversity of ideas, strengths and cultural background each member brings to the team
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required
- Support product development decisions for current and future iBOT® products
- Perform final system integration and testing prior to device shipment
- Provide technical support to clinicians and users of the device
- Identify reoccurring issues and recommends constructive resolution
- Utilize CRM software to document, manage and track user complaints for product improvement
- Provide engineering review and signature per QMS documentation requirements
- Perform other special projects or duties as determined by management
- Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies
- Participate in the company’s Performance Improvement Program
- Participate in company committees when requested
- Participate in in-service education programs provided by the company
- Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities
- Perform other special projects or duties as determined by management
- Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer, FDA Management Rep., Safety Officer or HIPAA Officer as appropriate
- Project management and leadership skills, ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time
- Demonstrated ability to engage, lead and take ownership – strong interpersonal & communication skills: capable of effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, to partners, members in other functional teams, healthcare professionals and iBOT users
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical influence, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
- Must be a self-starter with ability to work and problem solve independently
- Clinical and/or technical understanding of medical devices or technology a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team and drive toward departmental and company goals
- Previous experience in medical device, particularly in mobility devices preferred
- Previous experience working with the disability community a plus
- Knowledge of medical device industry standards/practices preferred (FDA/EU/ISO regulations, reimbursement landscape)
- Interest in downstream marketing, advertising, social media a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when provided with sensitive information
- Be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends
- Valid and current driver license
- Meets indications of the iBOT PMD and is ready, willing and able to be trained in its use
- Bachelors degree in a related engineering field is required – Biomedical or Human Factors Engineer is preferred
- Ability to complete all tasks that require the use of a computer and office equipment
- Ability to move throughout the building and grounds and communicate with employees, customers and others
- Ability to move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to travel as needed both domestically and internationally
