At Trunk Tools, we are tackling the massive $13 trillion+ construction industry. We’re an exceptional team of serial entrepreneurs, brought together by our shared mission: automating construction. Our founding team (SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, Carta, etc.) has successfully built and deployed software in construction for 140k+ users, millions of users beyond the construction space, and worked on +$2 billion of built-environment projects. We aren’t another out-of-touch tech startup, most of our team comes from construction.

We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now we are deploying workflows/ agents, starting with Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teams’ workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team in order to deploy several more agents this year. You will have an opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks and inefficiencies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive Product Vision and Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, with a particular focus on integrations, data pipelines, and application features tailored to the construction industry. Ensure that product strategy aligns with specific business objectives and market demands.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Engage closely with customers to deeply understand their needs, pain points, and feedback, particularly regarding integrations and data handling. Translate these insights into actionable features and improvements that enhance application functionality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and design teams to deliver robust integrations and data pipelines that seamlessly connect with our application features. Ensure clear communication and alignment with sales and marketing to effectively bring these features to market.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and user feedback to inform decisions on application features and integrations. Continuously monitor the performance of integrations and pipelines, optimizing them to enhance user experience and application efficiency.
  • Feature Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of specific features, from ideation to launch, including prioritization, MVP definition, and iterative improvements. Focus on building and refining features that add tangible value to our users.
  • Stakeholder Management: Regularly update and align with senior leadership and key stakeholders on the progress of integrations, data pipelines, and feature development. Clearly communicate challenges and upcoming milestones.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends in data integration, pipelines, and application development. Proactively suggest and implement innovative solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of our product.

Who you are:

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on integrations, data pipelines, and application features in the B2B SaaS space. Experience in construction technology is a significant advantage.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You prioritize understanding customer needs, particularly in terms of data integration and application functionality, and are driven to create features that provide real value to users.
  • Strategic Thinker: You can see the big picture and align product goals with business objectives. You are skilled in developing and executing strategic roadmaps focused on application features and integrations.
  • Collaborative Leader: You excel in cross-functional environments, working effectively with engineering, data, design, sales, and marketing teams to bring features and integrations to market.
  • Data-Driven: You rely on data and analytics to make informed product decisions, particularly related to feature performance and integration efficiency. You’re comfortable with metrics, KPIs, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent Communicator: You are articulate, both verbally and in writing, and can effectively communicate complex ideas about integrations, data pipelines, and application features to diverse audiences, including technical teams and senior executives.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple priorities, and are comfortable with ambiguity and change.
