About You
You have an excellent eye for detail and are excited about the opportunity to support effective processes across the production lifecycle of exquisite jewelry. Your keen attention to detail will play a pivotal role in ensuring production and inventory data is accurately entered and maintained. You are excited to work closely with Lugano's Workshop and Sales teams and assist with exceeding client expectations and maintaining inventory and repairs. In addition, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an openness to pivot as new projects become priorities.
What You Will Do
Apply your attention to detail to accurately and efficiently enter a high volume of production data and ask questions when clarity is needed
Create and maintain reports on inventory pieces, components, and/or raw materials entered into the system
Capture temporary product images to document each piece received through the production department
Research historical jobs and industry standards to support quotation requests
Prepares jewelry appraisals and gemstone certificates upon request, working closely with Manager, Production
Assist with inventory movement related to vendor shipments, repair jobs, and other non-finished goods in partnership with the Operations team
Support weekly and month-end Stock Take on back stock inventory and raw materials
Cross-functionally support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) as a backup
What You Will Bring
Organized and ability to learn and understand production processes to drive efficiency
Accurate data entry skills and ability to process a high volume of data
A meticulous and efficient approach to your daily tasks while continually being able to adjust priorities to meet the needs of the business
Solid understanding of the importance of clear, effective communication
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through on requests until complete
Technology savvy with an understanding that it is an important tool that you use to process information, analyze data, and stay organized. If you don't know the system, you are curious to learn it
Gemstone and jewelry knowledge will help you on your path to success but is not required
Pay Transparency
Targeted base compensation is $25/hr. plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Our Work Environment
Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking. Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned. Hours and days of work may vary by position.
