Production Manager

Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a leading Personal Care Product Manufacturer seeking a Production Manager.

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all filling and assembly production operations.

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

• Direct and oversee staffing and scheduling of F/A lines with support from Shift Leads and Line Leads.
• Implement and adjust the daily and weekly schedules based on current open order reports.
• Ensure the execution of the Short Interval Schedule (SIS) by assigning critical paths for fill readiness.
• Serve as the liaison between Engineering and Production staff to ensure proper setups, changeovers, and machine uptime.
• Coach, direct, and lead Shift Leads, Line Leads, and FA employees to align with the company’s vision and goals.
• Request batch records and picklists to ensure line readiness.
• Provide data and respond to inquiries related to customer orders and statuses for FA to the Manufacturing Team, Engineering, and Customer Success Managers.

To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:

• Minimum of 5 years in a GMP manufacturing environment, ideally OTC manufacturing
• Experience in coaching, training, team building, performance development, and conflict resolution.
• BS degree, or 5 years of equivalent work experience
