About us

Indiewalls is a full-service art consultancy dedicated to helping the world’s biggest brands source and commission art from local independent artists. Since 2011, we have developed art programs for clients including Marriott, Hilton, Google, Amazon, Virgin Voyages, L'Oreal, and many others. In the process, we have paid millions of dollars to independent local artists around the country. Our core expertise is curating and managing artwork installations for publicly-traded corporations, award-winning hotels, sports arenas, luxury multifamily developments, and healthcare facilities. Most projects are the result of deep collaboration with the brand and end user, with involvement from the project's interior design team. We have had the privilege of partnering with the nation's leading firms, including Gensler, HOK, Perkins Will, HKS, Rockwell Group, HLW, Meyer Davis, ZGF, DLR Group, Jeffrey Beers, and many more. For every project, our team of highly-specialized curators, project managers, and production specialists who work in close collaboration with independent artists to create trend-defining art collections and installations. All printing and framing needs are handled at our Brooklyn-based production facility, ensuring optimal quality control and timely project delivery. Headquartered in the vibrant city of New York, we have a fully distributed curatorial team in major cities across the country (including Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Reno, Miami, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Charlotte), allowing us to serve a diverse range of clients with customized art solutions tailored to their specific needs. Imagine freezing the perfect whiskey pour, capturing that golden moment mid-flow, and suspending it in mid-air. Now, look up at the Tempo by Hilton Louisville, and you’ll see it come to life. 🥃✨ That’s what artist Ashley Nardone achieved with her stunning sculpture, 'Smooth Finish.' Suspended in the lobby, the piece honors Louisville’s whiskey heritage. From glass bubbles that mimic droplets to amber hues shifting in the light, every detail evokes the richness of a perfect pour. Indiewalls worked closely with Ashley and the teams at Hilton, K2M Design, and Benjamin West to make sure every element reflected Louisville’s spirit. The result? A captivating 'Look Up Moment' that connects guests to the city’s story through art. We’re proud of this collaboration and can’t wait for you to experience it in person!

🏈 As football season kicks into high gear, we’re reminded of a hotel that has the spirit of the sport at the center of the design. Now, we may not all root for the same team, but we can’t help but love the story and beauty behind this property. It’s a reminder of how art connects us all—especially when it brings the excitement of football season to life! Located just steps from the University of Tennessee, the Graduate Hotels Knoxville is more than just a hotel; it’s a celebration of local tradition and community. We had the pleasure of working with UT alum Marshall Ramsey to create headboard illustrations that capture the energy of Game Day and the serene beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Paired with thoughtful touches like a nostalgic photo of the legendary quarterback Peyton Manning and his former coach, Phillip Fulmer, the space reflects the deep-rooted pride of the Vols. At Indiewalls, projects like this show how art can go beyond aesthetics—it can connect people with the places (and the sports!) they love.

💫 Highlighting over 20 independent artists in 3 Arlo Hotels The Indiewalls team partnered with the amazing designers at Meyer Davis to bring dozens of independent artists into the spotlight, ensuring guests were greeted by high-quality art rooted in a sense of place and community for each of the three Arlo Hotel locations. From the jungle-inspired themes of Nelson Cekis at Arlo Midtown to the bold brushstrokes of Finley at Arlo Soho, and the show-stopping installations by Ari Robinson, Hoxxoh, and Milagros Collective at Arlo Wynwood—this is just the beginning of what we’ve created! Designing the interiors for Arlo Hotels in Miami and New York was a true career milestone. Our goal was to align the art program with the brand’s commitment to supporting local communities while creating immersive, visually stunning spaces for guests. In total, we showcased work from over 20 independent artists. Giving artists the creative freedom to bring their visions to life can be risky, but it’s that very risk that leads to the most authentic and powerful work. The artwork has truly made each space feel alive—from striking exterior murals to vibrant works in the lobbies and intimate prints in the guest rooms. A huge shoutout to Shannon Senyk, Gray Davis and Will Meyer from Meyer Davis for being such amazing partners in this project. And a big thank you to Carolina Eguiguren, Amir Setayesh, and Robert Hendrickson from Quadrum Global for all your support along the way! Let’s continue to champion local artists and transform our communities through art! 🎨

✨ Indiewalls x Oliver Patch Project: Art with a Purpose ✨ We're thrilled to announce a special partnership with the Oliver Patch Project, where art meets compassion, bringing hope to children undergoing cancer treatment. Through this collaboration, designers from five incredible firms came together to create a bespoke collection of 11 unique patches, each designed to bring comfort and strength to children on their difficult journeys. Indiewalls sponsored the production of 250 of each patch design, so that children around the country can get them for free. A heartfelt thank you to the talented designers who lent their creativity and passion to this project: HOK - Chloe Guernsey, NCARB & Allison Brooks from B2 Design Co - Andrea Arteaga, Tiffany Chen & Margaret Nysewander from ASD | SKY - Oscar Rincón Jasso, Kate S., & Stephanie Adames from Newgard Development Group - Trisha Brookbank from Studio IDC - Julie Ann Loftiss At Indiewalls, we believe that creativity can be a powerful force for change—and it’s partnerships like these that remind us of art’s ability to connect, uplift, and heal. We are honored to work with the Oliver Patch Project and play a role in spreading messages of hope, resilience, and positivity. Let’s continue to champion creativity and compassion in all its forms. 💙

Three days, one incredible team, and a whole lot of inspiration—that’s how you do a retreat! 🌟 This year, our incredible Indiewalls team came together from across the country and the world for three days of connection, collaboration, and adventure in Beacon, NY. We enjoyed the perfect blend of nature, creativity, and strategic thinking—surrounded by clean mountain air and the energy of a truly inspiring group. Highlights included: Team Presentation by Gavi Wolf, where we dove deep into the essential role of delivering unparalleled client experience in everything we do. An insightful visit to the Dia Art Foundation, complete with a stop at the Dan Flavin exhibition—a great reminder of the power of light and space in art. Sunset Kayaking on the Hudson River, where we unwound and soaked in the beauty of the landscape. Late-night fun at the Happy Valley Arcade Bar (some of us still can’t believe we didn’t win that Mortal Kombat round). We also carved out time for a team-building session with Triangle Training, which provided a great opportunity to explore how we can deliver even more memorable, high-impact client experiences, all while reinforcing our commitment to supporting artists and delivering bespoke art programs. Thank you to everyone who attended for making this retreat such a meaningful experience. The energy, creativity, and trust we built over these few days will carry us into an exciting year ahead. #TeamIndiewalls, you’re simply the best! 🌟

Delivering art in just 8 weeks? Challenge accepted—and crushed! It’s not every day that a full public space renovation is completed in just 8 weeks, but that’s exactly what was achieved at M Social Hotel Times Square New York —and the results speak for themselves. The vibrant energy of Times Square was brought indoors through murals and video art curated by our talented curators and project managers on the Indiewalls team, creating an immersive experience for guests. This project was made possible by seamless collaboration between the design and purchasing teams, ensuring that the vision was brought to life on time, even during the unique challenges posed by COVID. A special thank you to Christina Zimmer, Alessia Corpino Roitman, Anthony Legamaro, Highgate & The Hardy Group for their invaluable roles in making this happen. If you’re attending BDNY, take a moment to visit and experience the art collection firsthand!
