Production Technician Details
Temp-to-Hire position
$ 17.50 / hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Sunday through Saturday )
Will be working a rotating schedule 7pm-7am, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, etc.
Will train on 1st shift (7AM-7PM) for 1-2 weeks at $17.50 and move to 2nd shift once trained at $18.50.
Safely manage loading and unloading of finished products and chemicals.
Monitor and adjust operation using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirements.
Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet and collect samples for several process areas.
Interfacing with computer terminals, and monitoring plant functions via computer and control rooms.
Carry out all manufacturing operations, including large scale chemical reactions, distillation, centrifuging and vacuum- drying, as well as support activities such as operating boiler equipment, water treatment and filtration.
Operate manual and automatic production equipment including pumps, valves, centrifuges, dryers and evaporators.
Production Technician Qualifications
Steel toes are required.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED.
The position also requires a valid driver’s license.
Must be comfortable working with computers.
Comfortable lifting 75 pounds on occasion.
Must have strong math and problem-solving skills.
