1st shift 6 am-2:30 pm Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri

What’s a typical day as a Warehouse Operator?
Use forklifts to organize materials in the warehouse and allergen rack
Rotate stock to ensure proper material movement and usage
Print shipments/orders using computer systems like Mapics/SAP and using Excel and Outlook for communication
Check items/lots and quantities for accuracy based on customer order requirements
Pick and allocate shipments using RF scanners and following FIFO (First In, First Out) method
Build pallets to industry standards and stretch wrapping them to ensure safe transportation
Report any inventory variances during picking and assisting with cycle counts
Load trailers according to proper checklist/procedures and double-checking orders for accuracy
Assist with warehouse sanitation and organization according to Good Manufacturing Practices
Support shipping and receiving, warehouse, and materials projects
This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You
Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Have six months to one-year (1yr) related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Have one-year (1yr) experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift truck
Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, bills of lading, and other related shipping documents
Can write routine reports and correspondence
Have basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Can apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Can lift and/or move up to 100 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently
