Job Description: Project Director
Overview:
Global Group Media is an independent media house providing detailed business and country reports for the world's leading legacy and new media outlets such as Forbes, Forbes Asia, Forbes Africa, & NBC.com
The Project Director in our Media and PR Company will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and execution of client projects related to media campaigns, public relations initiatives, and digital marketing strategies. They will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high client satisfaction and achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and senior management.
Develop comprehensive project plans that align with client goals and company objectives.
Ensure clear communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Project Execution:
Lead project teams in executing media campaigns, PR strategies, and digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor and track project progress, timelines, and milestones using project management tools.
Sales Execution
New sales leads generation and execution
Perform Market research
Manage revenue increase
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
Conduct regular meetings with clients to review project status, discuss challenges, and address client feedback.
Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Budget and Financial Management:
Develop project budgets and manage financial resources effectively.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet high standards and client expectations.
Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve project management practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Director or similar role in a media agency, PR firm, or digital marketing company.
Strong understanding of media and PR strategies, digital marketing trends, and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Solid organizational and time-management abilities with a keen attention to detail, proactive
Flexible and responsive to daily changes, willingness to learn, accountability
Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively Detail-oriented and Global outlook and multicultural skills
Team spirit, Public Relations, Communications, and administration
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of social media
Writing skills
Practical public relations experience working directly with clients
Shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with skilled professionals
Compensation available after 1-2 months training

Exposure to a multicultural environment
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: more than 5 years on related field
Ability to travel and be on the ground for 1-2 months.
