Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting large-scale construction projects. Working alongside the Project Manager, you will help ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and on-site teams to coordinate day-to-day operations.
• Review project plans and specifications, and provide feedback to optimize efficiency.
• Track project progress, report on milestones, and prepare daily/weekly project status reports.
• Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing and evaluating materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve any project-related issues.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or, 2-4 years of experience in Heavy Civil Project Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
