Project Engineer (Solar)

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our dynamic Solar Projects Team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects within the solar industry. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. Your role will involve managing project schedules, resources, and technical aspects to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate work and correspondence among project team members.
  • Manage all documentation related to solar construction projects.
  • Assist in bid solicitation and estimate functions.
  • Adhere to OSHA and Company safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain submittal/RFI logs based on project drawings and specifications.
  • Document and communicate scope changes and project impacts to the team.
  • Coordinate the change proposal, review, and submission process.
  • Participate in required construction meetings with subcontractors, designers, and owners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of six months of applicable internship experience in the construction industry or equivalent work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
