Estimator/Project Manager

The Estimator/Project Manager will manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out for procuring and executing work for heavy civil construction projects. This includes managing the estimating process, procurement, and coordination with subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers.

The Estimator/Project Manager will also collaborate with the Vice President of Field Operations to ensure successful project completion and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standard.

Responsibilitie

Utilize estimating software and historical data to develop accurate and detailed cost estimats.

Collaborate with the VP of Field Operations and suppliers to gather pricing information and validate cots.

Analyze project risks and contingencies, considering them in the estimation proess.

Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and compliant with client requireents.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and support bid submisions.

Monitor bid opportunities and deadlines, ensuring timely and complete bid submssions.

Participate in bid review meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the competitivenessof bids.

Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, soliciting bids and proposals as ecessary.

Review and analyze subcontractor bids, ensuring they are complete and compliant with project reuirements.

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring reliable and competitve pricing.

Lead submittal and procurement process to meet schedue deadlines.

Lead change order preparation and negotiations alongside project mangement staff.

Coordinate project preconstruction strt up process.

Experience

Handle additional responsibilities and projets as assignd.

Experience With Heavy Civil Estmating Preferred.

Working knowledge and comprehension of construction drawings, documents, and specifications,

as well as constuction management.

Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Wrd, Excel, Outlook.

Helpful to have experience with Agtek software - Gradework,Underground, nd drone solutions.

Must have good organizational and strong communication sills.
