Project Manager

Project Manager III leads and directs high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects and meeting deadlines of projects. Must be familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Communicates with top Information Systems Executive, functional area manager and/or Consultant regarding status of specific projects

Required Experience

• Minimum of seven - ten years of Project Management experience
• PMP Certification
• Healthcare Payer experience
• Financial budget management skills: ability to multitask and to flex with priority management; work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong project/program management skills are a must (Scope and summary, Change Control, Timeline and budget, Resource management, Risk mitigation, Status Reporting)
• Tracks and manages scope changes and utilizes change control processes
• Tracks Change System Requests (CSRs) to ensure they are progressing as expected. Manages any issues to resolution on the progression.
• Proven expertise using Project Management Methods
• Recent working experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or Planview
  
  

Responsibilities

Project Management responsibilities to include but not limited to managing/monitoring project deliverables, support and coordinate between multiple departments/vendors/customers, gather deliverable timelines from vendors, be the liaison between IT and the rest of the project team and communicate statuses and announcements at all levels of the company.
