​​​​​​​Responsibilities:

  • Prepare APQP plan for development aligning to customer milestones and requirements.
  • Co-ordinate all the activities between various departments for the development as per plan.
  • Conduct regular internal meetings to review the project progress and necessary action plan as required.
  • Conducting project review meeting along with Customers & keep them updated of the project progress.
  • Escalate the upcoming risk in the project to the management and seek necessary support.
  • Track the project budget and part cost elements during various phases of development.
  • Interaction with customer for the request for changes/modifications and deviations in the drawing during the project development phase.
  • Comply with APQP / VDA procedure and gate reviews, maintain document and records in line with system requirement.
  • Co-ordinate safe launch run to meet customer requirements.
  • Project planning includes timeline, budgets, resource and risk assessment.


Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least five years Project development and launch experience in automotive supply environment with demonstrated experience developing, motivating, and leading a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business required.
  • MBA preferred - PMP Certification a plus.
  • Good communication & co-ordination with various teams.
  • Leadership skill to lead the project along with CFT.
  • Problem solving skills to address issues and mitigate them.
  • Good knowledge of IATF / VDA requirements, APQP, PPAP, etc.
  • Hands on experience as project leader with direct interaction with customers and internal team.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal progressive stamping, plastic injection molding.
