Description

As a Project/Program Manager Associate at our Partner's Foundation, you will report to the IMM Lead and focus on modeling, measuring, managing, and evaluating the impact of OUR partner Foundation’s portfolio. You will also assist in the development and documentation of our organizational IMM practices, systems, and tools.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure our partner Foundation maintains a focus on outcomes, using data to make evidence-based decisions. You will gain experience working across the Foundation’s three impact opportunity areas: Health & Resilience, Energy and Materials, and Work and Prosperity.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and model investment impact:
    • Building and refining predictive models and dashboards to forecast impact and return on investment at individual grant and portfolio levels.
    • Assisting in impact due diligence in collaboration with investment leads and preparing for Investment Committee meetings.
  • Measure and manage investment impact:
    • Assisting the team in goal setting and creating impact measurement and management plans for grants and investments.
    • Leading end-of-year impact data collection and analysis, and synthesizing learnings across the portfolio.
    • Developing reports and presentations to effectively communicate results, lessons, and impacts.
    • Conducting research into the effectiveness of social and environmental interventions to inform future Foundation IMM strategy.
  • Build and maintain internal systems, processes, capabilities, and tools:
    • Assisting in the refinement of internal systems and processes that support the Foundation's capabilities in measuring and evaluating the impact of various investment types.
Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a foundation, frontline nonprofit, or a similar role within the private sector.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Impact measurement and management experience
  • Proven commitment to mission and impact orientation.
  • Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong background in research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and modeling.
  • Proficiency in developing public-facing data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Capability to gather, synthesize, and present data from various stakeholders, along with the ability to adapt research outputs.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Familiarity with human-centric design and agile methodologies is advantageous.

Pay Rate: $57/h (depending on skills and experience) under a W-2 contract.
