About The Role
WHYY offers the public relations interns a great opportunity to create/facilitate station events with strong public draws, diversify their writing skills, learn to write for different audiences, refine their interviewing skills and build a solid portfolio of publications.

About The Role
WHYY offers the public relations interns a great opportunity to create/facilitate station events with strong public draws, diversify their writing skills, learn to write for different audiences, refine their interviewing skills and build a solid portfolio of publications.
The Public Information Intern Will
- Learn to write press releases and news stories for internal and external communications vehicles including newsletters and social media
- Assist with organizing press clips, building and updating news media lists and other assignments
- Work with internal staff to create and facilitate public facing events
- Assist in supporting organizational Public Relations strategies and strategic plans.
