Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

Tanury Industries, located in Lincoln, Rhode Island, a leader in high quality decorative metal finishing is looking for a highly qualified candidate to manage the Quality Assurance function for all operations including; Plating, Polishing, Aerospace Coatings, Physical Vapor Deposition and Ceramic Spray Coatings.

General areas of responsibility include, Quality System Management including FAA, AS9100D, NADCAP and General Chemical Laboratory Databases. Candidate shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in general manufacturing with coating experience preferred.

The individual will report directly to President / CEO with reporting responsibility to Vice President of

Operations. The Quality Assurance Manager shall be responsible for staff and functionality of the Quality Manager and the Quality Department, the Laboratory and its staff and certain measurement systems.

The QA Manager shall be responsible for the following areas:

Internal Auditing

Calibration

Process Studies

Corrective Actions

SPC & SQC Capable (Six Sigma)

Lean Manufacturing Experience
