As a Trainer specializing in QC Training at Freddie Mac, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that equip QC Processing, Underwriting and Remedy professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold our high standards of mortgage quality control. You will leverage your expertise across a range of competencies to create impactful learning experiences tailored specifically for QC professionals.

In this position, you will facilitate, develop, and execute learning strategies for various initiatives in the Quality Control area. Utilize your consultative, problem solving, instructional design, and project management skills to provide engaging, accurate and easy-to-understand learning solutions.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $106,000 - $158,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
Training Design and Development:
- Designing and developing comprehensive training materials and programs (including virtual presentations, user guides/training manuals, job aides, and tutorials) that align with Freddie Mac's QC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Incorporating industry best practices, instructional design techniques, and adult learning principles to create engaging and effective training experiences for QC Underwriters.
- Creating, managing and executing project plans
- Utilizing consultative and business analytical skills to perform needs and/or gap analysis resulting in training/education plans to meet QC team needs and support Freddie Mac business goals
- Training Delivery:
- Facilitating high-quality training sessions, ensuring content is communicated effectively and aligns with Freddie Mac's QC guidelines and underwriting practices.
- Adapting training delivery methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and participant needs within the QC Underwriting domain.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of QC Underwriter training programs through assessment tools, participant feedback, and performance metrics.
- Analyzing training outcomes to identify areas for improvement and continuously enhancing training materials and delivery methods to optimize learning and performance outcomes.
- Collaborating with QC leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand training needs and ensure alignment with Freddie Mac's business objectives and QC strategies.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior trainers and QC Underwriters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Recognized Subject Matter Expert in loan origination and underwriting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience facilitating training for small to large participant groups via distance learning platforms
- Proven experience with instructional design/learning experience design for complex topics
- Project Management skills with exposure within facilitation, organization, and coordination across management of scheduling, budget/ financials, risk and governance.
- Strong business analysis organizational skills

- Ability to build and manage business partner relationships
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and detail orientation
- Ability to work independently and with a collaborative team
- Proficiency with switching between projects and prioritizing competing priorities
- Strong understanding of Freddie Mac Underwriting guidelines.
- Previous experience in a mortgage lending environment.
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., CPLP) or related field.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

- Proven professional writing skills
- Ability to analyze business processes, systems, policies and changes and translate that analysis into learning solutions
