Job Summary


Packsize is seeking a Quality Technician to execute the day to day production quality tasks, such as inspections and quality control checklists. The Quality Technician will be the first point of escalation for production quality questions, and will support the Quality Engineer to ensure high quality machines are produced to the expectations. They will work closely with the Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Production and Supplier Quality team members.

This position requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, experience in production or similar environment, and experience entering data. The Quality Technician must be highly detail oriented, and have a strong quality and mechanical mindset. To be successful, this team member should be able to collaborate effectively onsite, with a variety of team members across a wide range of functions, including quality, production, and documentation.

What You’ll Do


  • Execute the production inspection protocol (e.g., QC checklists), capture problem statements, and initiate nonconformity reports.
  • Ensure the testing has occurred and is meeting the expectations. When rework is required, ensure it is documented and retested.
  • Execute the final quality inspection protocols and ensure packing and shipping procedures are followed.
  • Gather and create records of production quality and testing results.
  • Be the first point of escalation when production has a quality question. Initiate production nonconformities and monitor deviations.
  • Must have experience in a production or similar environment.
  • Desired experience or passion for Quality.
