R&D Lab Test Intern

Job Description
Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL is searching for a R&D Lab Test Intern. The Intern will assist in the R&D lab testing activities using multiple R&D Test systems . The intern will focus on compressor testing to fulfill timely execution of lab projects.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Assist in Compressor installation and removal (mechanical electrical hook ups)
• Assist in Test equipment and compressor configuration and set up
• Assist in performing compressor testing in accordance with the test requirements
• Maintain accurate and complete test logs
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Currently pursuing related studies in HVAC Field
• Fundamental computer knowledge (Windows, MS Office)
• Experience in Refrigeration and copper brazing, welding a plus
• Good written and communication skills
• Able to work flexible hours
• Good Mechanical skills
• Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the work site
• Strong motivation and interest to learn new things
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
