American Gonzo is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing headquarters team.

Our family of diverse brands includes Superba Food + Bread, Superba Snacks + Coffee, American Beauty, The Win~Dow, and Pitfire Pizza.  Our menus are chef and product driven. We design restaurants with a sense of place unique to their neighborhood. We have locations throughout greater Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County, and a pipeline of many new restaurant openings on the way.

The right candidate will be tenacious, organized, committed to upholding our recruiting standards, and skilled at building relationships with candidates and our operations team. They will first assimilate to our systems and then bring new approaches to how we do things.

Qualifications:

• Three or more years of experience combined in restaurant management and talent acquisition
• Self - starter capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to source and engage qualified candidates and effectively drive our recruiting process in a timely and organized manner
• Familiarity with the various roles and responsibilities of restaurant management and team members, and the intuition to identify and connect with talent
• Restaurant industry savvy including notable openings, talented chefs and accomplished restauranteurs
• Ability to lead weekly meetings with leadership to drive process and report on the status
• Systems competence: recruiting platforms and applicant tracking systems, excel, Zoom, Outlook
• Availability for on-site hiring events and orientation and onboarding for new team members
