Recruiter
Our client, a global multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking to add a recruiter on the talent acquisition team. This role will be based in their NY office and will report into the Head of Talent Acquisition. This role will work closely with a dynamic Talent team and Managers across the business and investment team to help run recruitment processes end to end. This will include candidate sourcing (passive and active), assessment, and referencing as well as managing the interview and feedback processes successfully with candidates and hiring managers. The ideal candidate will be smart, kind (no sharp elbows!!) and be an excellent communicator internally and externally.

COMPENSATION: 140k-275k / DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid Role: 3 days in office / 2 days remote – pending the needs of the business)
Responsibilities of the Recruiter:
- Partner with team managers to manage the full-cycle recruitment process while providing an outstanding candidate and internal client experience
- Identify and assess candidates for specific roles and build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates and industry contacts for future roles and candidate sourcing
- Organize and manage the recruitment processes through ATS (Bamboo)
- Produce talent mapping and insights on the competitive landscape
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, acting as a brand ambassador for the organization
- Coordinate with HR to successfully onboard new hires
- Manage and execute internal team building events to boost employee engagement and culture
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates
- Utilize various recruitment methods to attract candidates, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
Requirements of the Recruiter:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle experience recruiting for a variety of roles (investment management, technology, financial services), with experience in sourcing and direct approach
- Experience closing competitive candidates, managing demanding clients and developing key internal partnerships
- Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, change, and competing priorities
- Experience in a dynamic and growth environment, with proven ability to adapt on the go and address concerns across the business as they come up
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- An interest and ability in networking and staying up to date with the job market trends and understanding the needs of the industry
- Knowledge and experience with applicant tracking systems (Bamboo)
