Description
Compensation Analyst:
Boston University is looking for a compensation analyst to assist in the development and administration of the University's compensation programs.
" Provide day-to-day compensation administration to support schools, units, and departments.
" Assists departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions; perform market analyses and provide reports and data for compensation-related decisions.
" Review positions to ensure internal and external equity and FLSA compliance.
" Conduct and participate in multiple University and General Industry compensation market surveys.
Required Skills
" Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, preferably in HR, business or related field.
" CCP designation preferred or taking classes towards certification.
" One to three years of human resources experience, preferably compensation.
" Previous higher education experience a plus!
" Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to compensation and pay equity.
" Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
" Strong problem solving, decision-making, organizational and analytical skills.
" Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed.
" Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and HRIS systems.
" Working knowledge of SAP and MarketPay preferred.
Can be hybrid - 3 days on-site/2 remote
