The Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for creating/executing the overall staffing vision and managing all recruitment, selection and placement activities for Stone Mountain Park’s exempt and non-exempt level staffing. Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position.

- Manage all internal and external full cycle recruiting activities.
- Ensure the recruiting team operates as cultural champions in all recruitment efforts.
- Develop and implement programs and processes that will maximize recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as Administrator for all recruiting and background software, (Paycor and Assurehire).
- Create a Recruitment Brand for the park.
- Serve as a “Train the Trainer” to all departmental counterparts on the usage of Paycor Recruiting.
- Manage all job requisitions and act as liaison between HR and the hiring managers, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships.
- Create job postings and identify external sourcing opportunities within budget.
- Review/screen all incoming applications and resumes and serve as initial interviewer for all job postings.
- Coordinate hiring managers’ schedules and set up interviews.
- Identify and build relationships with key community members to market employment brand and continue to build quality candidate pools.
- Generate appropriate correspondence to non-referred candidates.
- Coordinate all application and interview forms and processes for candidates and hiring managers.
- Create, issue and record all job offers.
- Process national and state-wide criminal background checks.
- Maintain criminal search adjudication policies.
- Develop and maintain all recruitment collateral materials.
- Maintain all staffing metrics.
- Maintain current job descriptions for all positions.
- Respond to applicant employment inquiries on-site, by telephone, and in writing.
- Record recruitment statistics and generate ad hoc reports.
- Maintain all EEOC hiring standards.
- Continue education for newly appointed leaders and serve as advisor for interviewing best practices.
- Conduct salary surveys as needed.
- Assist with HR administrative duties as needed.
- Assist with recruiting for the two on park hotels as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Supervise, train, plan, schedule, and direct work of Staffing Assistants.
- Appraise performance, reward, coach, counsel, and discipline staff.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.

- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and the Internet.
- Must have experience with HRIS systems. Proficiency in Paycor is a plus.
- Must have a strong work ethic and the initiative to accomplish tasks with minimal oversight and direction from others.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must understand and comprehend full cycle recruiting processes and methodologies.
- Must understand, read, write, and speak the English language.
- Must have the ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Must have the ability to work days, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must have the ability to speak to applicants and employees effectively portraying the company brand, values, and culture.
- Must be able to build and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, hiring managers, and community members.
- Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must handle sensitive and confidential material responsibly.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Resources or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in recruiting, interviewing, selection, staffing as a recruiter or hiring manager required.
- Knowledge of state and federal selection guidelines and employment laws preferred.
- Experience with social media preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and have personal, reliable transportation.
