POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a Regional Director for the Mid-West region, based in the Minneapolis, MN area. This hybrid role offers remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise and judgment necessary to tackle various challenges while engaging with top-level clients. We are looking for individuals who can multitask, adapt quickly to client demands, and employ active problem-solving skills to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide top-tier, executive-level IT management to financial services clients
  • Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients
  • Manage client relationships, functioning as an internal Director of IT, CTO, or CIO
  • Lead and supervise a team of Senior IT support engineers
  • Promote the use of advanced cloud technologies
  • Design, implement, document, and manage clients’ IT infrastructure, applications, and system management tools and processes
  • Assist in maintaining clients’ cybersecurity, cloud, and high-availability strategies
  • Communicate complex technical solutions to decision-makers and end-users
  • Work with team members to identify the best solutions for clients
  • Commit to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Serve as the technical expert in specific technology areas
  • Actively lead by example, providing hands-on technical and end-user support as part of the support team
  • Participate in business development discussions with potential clients in the region


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of technical IT experience
  • 5+ years of direct employee management
  • 5+ years of IT leadership experience at the Director, VP, or CTO/CIO level
  • Proven experience managing relationships with executives or clients
  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies: Microsoft 365, EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, Azure IaaS, and Windows Server
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and best practices, including endpoint protection, DLP solutions, encryption, SSO, and MFA
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • Availability to be on-site as needed, typically 3 days per week
  • Willingness to be on call once per quarter for one week


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 2+ years of experience in technology within the financial services sector, particularly in SEC or FINRA-regulated entities


COMPENSATION

$120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus + Benefits
