Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Regional Station Manager to manage, coordinate, and participate in all representatives, supervisory, and political components for Sun Country Airlines at assigned stations.

Regional Station Manager Overview:

The Regional Station Manager position is responsible for managing, coordinating, and participating in all representatives, supervisory, and political components for Sun Country Airlines at assigned stations. This position will also oversee air cargo contracts and ground handling contracts for stations in an assigned region.

Essential roles and responsibilities of a Regional Station Manager:

  • Builds and maintains professional work relationships with vendors, travel wholesalers, other airport tenants, the FAA, and airport management.
  • Plans resources for contracting and contracted services in assigned station.
  • Monitors and maintains ground equipment ensuring sufficient ground support is available to handle fluctuating operation.
  • Coordinates cooperation from other departments coordinated through requests and proper management protocol.
  • Plans, organizes and evaluates operational functions to ensure compliance with company standards as well as all FAA, OSHA, Customs, safety and security regulations.
  • Monitors and maintains scanning operations USPS/ASI database and distributes day to day operational information.
  • Audits related training and operating manuals for regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for station on time performance, baggage mishandles, passenger wait times, and budget variances.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

The qualifications we are looking for in a Regional Station Manager include:

  • Four-year college degree
  • Two or more years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
  • Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Ability to multi-task at a high level
  • Strong customer focus, leadership skills, and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Navitaire experience
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean/6-Sigma experience/training
  • Greenbelt (or greater) certification

Will require base airport badging.
