The Regional Manager (RM) will oversee and manage all aspects related to Field Personnel and the Operational components behind it. This includes, but is not limited to interviewing, onboarding, and training field personnel; auditing work and performance; performance managing and developing field personnel; creating and maintaining personnel records, including sales performance and in-store behavioral assessments; administering any necessary counseling/corrective action; and monitoring reporting and training compliance. This position will work closely with the Account Team, Internal Operations, and Onboarding teams, as well as aligning with internal stakeholders such as HR and Payroll. The RM will also audit work processes and performance metrics to ensure quality and efficiency. They will work directly with program leaders to performance manage associates, as well as ensure completion of all reporting and compliance with company and client-established expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for field representatives within the assigned region
  • Drives strategic execution of field strategy via performance management of direct reports to ensure alignment with objectives
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and managing the performance of field associates, including training, development, and performance evaluations to foster growth and accountability
  • Aggregates and delivers written and verbal actionable field insights while conducting periodic audits to validate data accuracy
  • Maintain reporting inclusive of the following: scheduling, field specialist performance, coaching and follow-up
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver and influence client-related needs, requests, and/or recommendations
  • Responsible for budget management of market funds, conducting performance reviews, HR policies, training, hiring process, payroll, and other management responsibilities as required
  • Inspire and motivate a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve assigned business targets which will include prioritization of store visits during optimal store-traffic periods to maximize impact and meet objectives.
  • Maintain highly visible presence both in person and virtually in designated region within assigned territory by conducting regular field visits within region to ensure excellence and value-add from the field reps store engagements
  • Maintain a strong level of expectation and ability to lead/coach through various content and mediums when being face to face is not possible
  • Manages field processes, ensuring adherence to best practices through consistent auditing and


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in leading, managing, guiding, and developing direct reports
  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience in retail, merchandising, sales, training, and/or field marketing
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with a proven track record of success in fostering relationships with direct reports and internal/external stakeholders
  • Outstanding organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proactive in identifying client-based internal or external needs and presenting viable solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with impeccable follow-up, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Motivation to find answers and pivot, as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity
  • Proven experience in managing and tracking performance against assigned directives and KPIs
  • Strong judgment and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to balance multiple (and often conflicting) demands
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
