The Role

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager will oversee and coordinate all operations for stores within the Northern Virginia area. They are entrusted with training and empowering Store Managers, collaborating with managers and business partners to set and execute goals for each store, communicating and enforcing company policies to managers and team members, and maximizing customer satisfaction.

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a multi-unit portfolio of stores
  • Support the Human Resources department and act as a hiring manager for Store Managers and team members, ensuring stores are fully staffed and trained
  • Organize and oversee the creation and maintenance of monthly store schedules and monitor the performance of studio team members
  • Identify areas of improvement within stores and employee performance, implementing effective training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • Engage with employees directly, offering support, encouragement, and training regularly
  • Handle disciplinary action and termination of employees in accordance with company policy, in partnership with Human Resources
  • Provide leadership to the assigned region, overseeing retail activities within stores
  • Review and analyze regional sales and operational records and reports
  • Collaborate with Store Managers to identify budgeted sales goals for each location, monitor progress toward those goals, and develop strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Develop local marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and/or introduce new products and services
  • Schedule and direct regular meetings and trainings to share information, set and revise goals, and increase morale
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop territories, sales quotas, and strategies
  • Understand and follow a district-wide budget, monitoring and approving expenses
  • Maintain knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Role Requirements

  • Full-time availability, averaging 45+ hours per week
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to fulfill responsibilities in a hybrid work environment
  • Regular travel within the Northern Virginia area with occasional travel to other regions

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and neutrally
  • Time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Advanced customer service capabilities with proven negotiation skills
  • Understanding of numbers and the ability to conduct data analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Slack


Experience and Education

  • Minimum 5 years in relevant leadership role required
  • Minimum 2 years of multi-unit experience experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with the arts, entertainment and/or restaurant industry preferred
  • Past bartender or server experience is a bonus!
  • Alcohol Safety/TIPS certification (Muse will provide this training if needed)
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (Muse will provide this training if needed)

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Quiet, professional and well-lit remote work environment
  • Reliable technology, including cell phone and computer/laptop
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach, climb at times
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Must have the ability to regularly travel in the Northern Virginia area
  • Must physically reside or be willing to relocate within the DC Metro or Northern Virginia area
