Regional Marketing Manager - Genomic Solutions (North America)

The Opportunity

Join our Marketing team, which plays a crucial role in driving the company’s growth by strategically positioning and promoting our innovative FISH and NGS products across research, clinical, and pharma markets.

Your Role

As the Regional Marketing Manager for North America, you will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to achieve our ambitious goals. This key role involves developing and executing growth initiatives and marketing plans to accelerate sales and increase our market share in North American markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Plans: Formulate and execute tactical marketing plans that drive revenue and strengthen our brand.
  • Campaign Management: Design, plan, and organize regional campaigns. Execute and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, events, and social media.
  • Event Coordination: Work closely with the Marcoms team to plan and oversee regional events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Develop bespoke Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs with sales teams to win new accounts or increase share in existing accounts.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and customer feedback from North American regions to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs.
  • Product Launches: Regionalize launches of new products and services for North America to maximize impact, generate leads, and increase revenue.
  • Training Programs: Support the development and delivery of high-impact technical and commercial training programs for new hires.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with key opinion leaders to support new product and service introductions.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure the impact of marketing activities through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and a marketing dashboard.

Essential Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum BSc (Hons) in a molecular biology discipline, with a comprehensive knowledge of and interest in clinical and diagnostic applications.
  • Direct experience in NGS and/or FISH.
  • Customer-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven success in a marketing role such as product management, regional marketing, or strategic marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a globally dispersed team.
  • Remote work capability, based out of a home office.
  • Willingness to travel an average of 5 days per month within North America, with an annual trip to the UK offices.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical molecular genetics, clinical cytogenetics, or cancer genetics.
  • Lab experience in genomic technologies such as NGS, microarrays, FISH, cytogenetics/cancer.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales or marketing in the cytogenetics, clinical molecular genetics, diagnostics, or cancer genetics market.
  • Sales experience in the life sciences industry.
