LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Business Unit Controller role in the Triad area of North Carolina for a leading and profitable global manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have current or previous manufacturing Controllership experience and skilled in cost accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Our client offers an entrepreneurial culture and the opportunity to make an impact in a business unit positioned for continued growth. A hybrid work schedule is available.
Controller job duties will include:
Manage the monthly accounting close process and produce the consolidated financial results for the business unit and support corporate financial reporting requirements.
Analyze the Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet for the manufacturing sites and assist the plant management teams in meeting their financial goals.
Ensure the integrity of the Company’s global inventory and analyze the related cost of goods sold in accordance with US-GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Manage Key Performance Indicators and support decision making to reduce costs and improve profitability.
Forecasting and budgeting of direct material, labor and overhead costs.
Provide leadership and direct all aspects of accounting operations, oversee all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and all other financial reporting
Oversees internal and external audits
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, Required
CPA Certification, Preferred
MBA, Preferred
Minimum 5-10 years of Accounting/Finance Experience
3+ Years of Leadership Experience, Preferred
Excellent relationship building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience
