Regional Safety Manager
Our Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Safety Manager to join our team. As a Regional Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees across our multiple manufacturing facilities. You will develop and implement safety programs, enforce compliance with safety regulations, conduct training, and lead investigations in case of incidents. - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures across the region
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Provide safety training to employees across all levels of the organization
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards
- Track and analyze safety data to identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety improvement initiatives
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in safety management
- Development of reports pertaining to all things EPA and OSHA compliance
- Develop and conduct OSHA compliance training for each facility under responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (such as CSP, CIH) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with waste water treatment plants and stormwater permitting
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA) and best practices
- Experience conducting safety audits and inspections
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective safety training
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel frequently (50%-75%) to multiple manufacturing facilities within the region
