JANUS et Cie currently has an opening for a Regional Director of Sales, Contract. Under the direction of the Vice President of Contract Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for strategic direction and development of sales within assigned markets and territories. Along with management responsibilities, the Regional Sales Director, Contract will be responsible for the individual sales targets in specified markets and territories.


This Position is remote and can be located anywhere within the contiguous US.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and new business development.
  • Assist in advancing the sales process for top strategic opportunities within given territory(s).
  • Manage accuracy of sales probability and forecast sales expectations for their entire team
  • Conduct interviews to fill open head count.
  • Observe and participate in sales calls with all team members for sales development and coaching.
  • Participate in team sales training.
  • Assess managerial skill sets, create and maintain individual development plans.
  • Complete sales activity metrics, such as, pending business reports and monthly revenue reports.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
  • Balance individual contributor and management responsibilities and targets.

Qualifications include:

  • Luxury furniture or interior design knowledge is preferred.
  • Great business acumen and ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to develop new business relationships.
  • 5 (plus) years of general sales experience.
  • Previous management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience is desired.
  • Remote position requires 25% travel
