Remote Attorney - Louisiana

Insurance MGA located in Louisiana is looking for a contract ATTORNEY (REMOTE) who resides anywhere in Louisiana with 3-7 years of experience defending personal injury cases. The candidate needs to have experience handling personal or commercial auto negligence experience as all cases will involve defending our client's insureds, who/which will consist solely of trucking companies and their drivers. The candidate must also have taken multiple depositions of both liability and damages experts and defended corporate representative depositions. No first party property work is required.

This position is completely remote and no billing is required.

Our client does not micro-manage. They are seeking a strong candidate who can work independently and remotely with a team which includes a 1:1 ratio legal assistant to attorney as well as a paralegal. All paralegals currently working at our clients office can prepare medical chronologies and summaries and deal with disclosures and discovery.
