Overview

We are seeking a skilled Oracle CIS System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Customer Information System (CIS) leveraging Oracle technologies. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the CIS system supports our business objectives and operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design and Implementation:
  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle-based CIS solutions.
  • Customize and configure Oracle CIS applications to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Maintenance and Support:
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Oracle CIS system.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the CIS system.
  • Database Management:
  • Manage Oracle databases, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the CIS system.
  • Develop and execute database queries and scripts as needed.
  • Integration and Interfaces:
  • Develop and maintain integrations between the Oracle CIS system and other enterprise applications.
  • Work on API management and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data exchange standards and protocols.
  • Upgrades and Enhancements:
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and patches.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to improve system functionality and user experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle CIS features and industry best practices.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on the Oracle CIS system.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle CIS systems.
  • Proven experience in system design, implementation, and support.
  • Strong background in Oracle database management and SQL.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle CIS applications and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle ADF, and related technologies.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and web services.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
