Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

The Renewable Energy - Project Manager - Remote will oversee the delivery of Solar, Energy Storage, and Wind projects across the US, taking them from late-stage development, through construction, and handing over to the Asset Management team.

Client Details

A well financed utility-scale developer, builder, owner/operator of Wind, Solar, & BESS projects across the Americas. Smaller company that hold team culture, and development close to their values. They are a close knit team of player/coaches, and have high performing and successful histories in Renewables.

Description

The Renewable Energy - Project Manager - Remote will be expected to:

  • Manage the project delivery/execution of utility-scale Solar, BESS, and Wind projects.
  • Involved with LNTP work prior to project financial close through to COD.
  • Managing EPC Contractor and Owner Furnished Equipment Supplier deliverables during the Pre-Construction period to support Project Finance lead and the others in achieving financial close.
  • Manage the EPC Contractor from FNTP through Final Completion, delivering high quality projects safely, on time, and on budget. This will include day to day contract management, as well as pay application review and approval, change order management and negotiation, and construction loan draw coordination.
  • Contracting and management of a third-party onsite construction manager.
  • Manage Equipment Suppliers during project execution to coordinate design, scheduling, logistics, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management/O&M providers to ensure a successful hand-off of projects into Operations.
  • Manage interconnection agreement and coordinate with relevant Transmission Service Providers to ensure on time in-service and commissioning.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent or at least 10+ years professional experience in a construction project management role.
  • Require familiarity with wind and solar project construction, design and technical standards.
  • Project Management Institute PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Superior stakeholder leadership skills required.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including an ability to maintain calm and effective exchanges by all parties during stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with NEC and NFPA code requirements preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by clear and effective project plans and executive level reporting that ensure timely action and decision making in time-pressured scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and MS Teams.

Job Offer

For the right Renewable Energy - Project Manager - Remote there will be:

- Base salary up to $200k

- Bonus 35%

- Open to remote across the US, but preference on Austin, Bay Area (San Francisco), or Chicago based.
