Job Description

Research Development and Outreach Manager (RDOM)

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Research Development and Outreach Manager (RDOM) in the Monitoring & Outreach Unit in Research & Project Administration. We're looking for a self-directed professional to support our faculty and make an impact in our funding development and Responsible Conduct of Research programs.

This position is a hybrid position to allow some travel to campus.

Role Overview:

  • Provide customer-focused support to faculty to identify relevant funding opportunities
  • Develops and maintains a robust range of resources which inform application development and promote funding success
  • Develop and implement department/program and PI-specific funding development strategies to stimulate MSKs research funding pipeline
  • Manage and administer the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver education and outreach programming to faculty and staff

(Education and) Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years experience in a related field, ideally in a research administration environment performing duties similar to the above

Core Skills:

  • Ability to develop and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Skilled in working effectively with faculty, staff and external funding agencies
  • Strong client service and communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of individuals
  • Experience reading and interpreting funding opportunity announcements
  • Knowledge of pre-award grant submission process
  • Experience with the federal application requirements and policy regulations

Additional Information:

  • Location: Hybrid
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Reporting to the Associate Director, Monitoring & Outreach

Pay Range: $88,800 - $142,200
