Job Description
We are currently hiring seasonal Retail Associates at Angry Orchard Cidery in Walden, NY. We are looking for availability during peak season which is August - December.
The Retail Associate is responsible for the day-to-day floor operations of the retail shop. They are expected to maintain the highest-level retail experience to all guests. This person is expected to help drive and grow retail sales by helping create an exemplary retail experience.
What You’ll Brew:
Actively engages guests, answers their questions, and assists them in their shopping needs
Acts as a brand ambassador to all guests, relaying important information related to the Company as a whole
Delivers an unmatched retail experience by maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times
Responsible for day-to-day general operations of the Shop - operating POS machines, stocking merchandise, and maintaining visual merchandising standards
Collaborates with Retail and Assistant Manager to create engaging and effective merchandise displays that drive sales and brand awareness
Processes merchandise shipments, including counting, folding, barcode stickering, size stickering and proper storage of all retail units, while communicating all units received to the Retail Assistant Manager
Participates in all physical inventory counts, including monthly cycle counts and quarterly full inventory counts

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
2+ years in a fast paced retail environment
Level: 10
In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $15 per hour.
