About The Role
As a Retirement Plan Advisor, you will empower individuals utilizing retirement services to secure their financial futures. Serving as their trusted advisor, you'll strategically navigate business objectives while ensuring exceptional client service. This role involves conducting both individual and group meetings, leveraging your expertise to enhance retirement outcomes for public employees in Michigan, primarily between Detroit and Grand Rapids.
Responsibilities
Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and agencies within the assigned territory.
Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and individual consultations to improve retirement planning outcomes.
Create and implement dynamic business plans to effectively serve participants.
Utilize analytical insights to address diverse client needs and challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Meet service level agreements and achieve business targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize service delivery.
Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Current FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations; Series 65 strongly preferred.
Reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory (mileage reimbursed).
Strong skills in relationship building and territory management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with retirement planning or financial planning software.
Ability to deliver impactful presentations and engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Proficiency in the defined contribution business and ERISA regulations.
