As a member of our Retirement Sales team, you will make a difference and leave a lasting impact on the industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively build and manage relationships with Cetera financial advisors and partners in your territory.
  • Develop and present feasibility studies and sales proposals to financial advisors and their clients.
  • Educate advisors on various types of plans and make recommendations based on their clients’ needs.


Qualifications:


  • Expert-level knowledge of the retirement plan industry.
  • Understanding of retirement plan design, retirement products, and investments.
  • QPFC, QKA, or equivalent designation, or willingness to attain within 18 months.
  • Minimum of 3 years in retirement plan sales.
  • Experience in an open architecture environment is a plus.
  • Experience working with fee-based RIAs and expert retirement plan advisors is a plus.
  • Proven record of meeting sales goals.
  • Phone sales experience along with a sales-minded aptitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Compensation:


The base annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000, plus competitive incentive compensation. The base salary depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base salary may also vary significantly due to geographic and cost of labor considerations.
