Very excited to announce that the Mercury app for Android now supports Material 3 Dynamic Theming. Now, whenever you change your wallpaper or modify your device colors, the Mercury app will adapt to complement the theme you've chosen. Over the past few months, we've overhauled our entire app to align with Material 3. In addition to ensuring we're staying up to date with the most recent Material guidelines, we want the Mercury experience to feel like an extension of you. We believe that the future of UI is highly personalized and tailor-made to meet your needs. Huge shoutout to our super talented team of engineers that made this project happen: Carmen Flores, Joshua Jamison, and the rest of the Android team. We care about our Android users, and we're excited to invest in an experience that isn't just a copy of other platforms. Hope you enjoy! As always, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Clear compliance standards for fintech-bank partnerships are good for our industry. Mercury joined the Coalition for Financial Ecosystem Standards (CFES) as a founding member because we believe the fintech industry needs a unified framework to reduce ambiguity and ensure a consistent, rigorous approach to risk management across the ecosystem. We hope this will create greater connectivity between fintechs, banks, and regulators - and more transparency among them about which companies are innovating responsibly. This will lead to stronger and safer products for fintech customers. Thank you, Sima Gandhi, for your leadership in this effort. We look forward to the work ahead to grow this coalition alongside Block, Stripe, Rho, Relay, and others.

Software Engineer at Mercury | Haskell

Hey everyone! Wanted to share my first blog post about some of my work on Haskell Tooling at Mercury. We face a pretty unique set of challenges in terms of the scale within the Haskell ecosystem. Static-ls, which started as one of my side projects, has grown into one of the of the ways we handle that and become a tool used by numerous backend engineers at Mercury. Please give it a read if you're interested!

Here’s an update for you: You can now greenlight known vendors — like your payroll provider — by adding them to your allow list and setting a transaction limit. We’ll still flag any attempted ACH debits above the limit you set or from unauthorized vendors for you to review.

Building banking and finance tools that empower all businesses

Thank you to two gracious podcast hosts for having me on recently! For all my corporate finance people jumping into annual planning, CJ Gustafson and I jammed on this topic and traded some hot takes. If you don't follow him already, he has a tremendous amount of high quality resources and content he puts out regularly for finance leaders at Mostly Metrics. https://lnkd.in/gcPYybe8 Also had the pleasure of chatting with Zack Miller on how Mercury is evolving beyond the business banking account to offer finance tools like Bill Pay and Invoicing, and even Personal Banking. His podcast Tearsheet offers great food for thought on the intersection of financial services and technology. https://lnkd.in/gzxehtz8
