Base pay range
The Rigging Quality Control Technician is responsible for quality control functions to assure equipment availability for production to meet order fulfillment. A Lead QC Tech will plan, manage, and facilitate his or her pre-assigned workload including accuracy, proper functionality, and technical integrity of each equipment order, while adhering to production capacity demands within the limits of standard or accepted company practices.
Essential Functions May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Visually examine components to determine obvious requirements for cleaning, repair, or other preparation to meet with quality standards.
- Make minor cosmetic repairs including the routine cleaning and replacement of labels.
- Check the condition of cases and ensure that all components of shipping cases are operable. Make basic repairs to cases including the cutting and positioning of foam or blocking structures to meet product-shipping requirements.
- Receive and review rental reservations and show orders. Gather information and record required data on manifests. Visually check orders to ensure that all ancillary elements required are included with order and to identify and report on cosmetic discrepancies. Locate missing elements of orders and ensure that orders are complete. Report the need for repairs identified from visual inspection and make standard or routine cosmetic repairs as required, including cleaning and reapplication of labels.
- Set up product components for inspection and functional test to meet requirements of customer order and replicate show conditions.
- Organize, clean, and maintain warehouse storage of inventory to include coded binning system for the proper and safe storage of equipment. Assists with the design and location of equipment storage to enhance work effectiveness.
- Load trucks as directed, assisting to position cases to ensure proper balancing of loads and to avoid shifting or damage in transit.
