Job Description:

As an HSE Manager, you will lead and implement health, safety, and environmental programs that meet regulatory standards and align with company policies. This role will focus on conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, investigating incidents, and leading safety training initiatives. You will also be involved in fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development: Design and manage comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Training & Education: Develop and lead safety training programs for all employees.
• Incident Investigation: Oversee investigations into incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other safety regulations.
• Safety Audits: Conduct safety audits and provide reports with actionable recommendations.
• Emergency Planning: Develop emergency response plans, including evacuation and fire safety procedures.
• Sustainability: Promote environmentally sustainable practices to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed safety records and provide updates to senior management.
• Leadership: Build a safety-conscious culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in material handling or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Willingness to travel to various work sites.
• CSP or ASP certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
